Manage your perm in the same way as above but also remember:

Never brush or comb a spiral perm when your hair is dry. This would give a frizzy look to your hair.

When you’ve washed your hair gently remove any tangles with a detangle comb while your hair is still wet.

Try to let your hair dry naturally when you have washed it. This is a lot kinder to your hair and helps avoid frizzes.

In-between washing your hair, apply a leave in conditioner to your hair such as Detangler by Fudge and scrunch to freshen up your style and define your curls. If this sends your hair too soft try applying mousse to your hair instead.

When washing your hair choose a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair.

Have your roots touched up every six to eight weeks for a permanent all over colour and every eight to twelve weeks for highlights.

A cold rinse after shampooing your hair closes the cuticle, sealing in the colour and improving the shine of your hair.

Protect your hair from the sun with UV products and wear a hat whenever possible when out in the sun.

Always use a deep cleansing shampoo after swimming to remove the chlorine and an intensive conditioner to put back lost moisture.

Blonde colours don’t fade but can start looking brassy/greenish in time, (specially if you swim regally). Brighten it up with a colour enhancing shampoo.

Reds fade quicker than any other colour.

Use a leave in conditioner if you have red or copper colours in your hair, the less rinsing you do the longer your colour will last.
