Located in the centre of Peterborough and with ample parking nearby, the Prestige Nursing + Care office has been serving the city itself and the surrounding areas since 2003. Prestige Nursing + Care in Peterborough has a wide range of homecare services designed to meet the needs of the elderly, infirm or disabled; offering anything from a simple one hour visit right up to round-the-clock nursing care. It also has experience in providing more specialist types of homecare such as Palliative care and looking after people with Acquired Brain Injuries. It also offers a range of supported living services and care for people with learning disabilities. The branch also offers a range of healthcare staffing solutions to NHS and private hospitals, nursing and care homes, prisons, schools and factories. Our focus is on a responsive, high quality service using staff that integrate seamlessly with your own teams.

Our philosophy and core values for supporting people with learning disabilities are in direct accordance with the Government's Valuing People Now Agenda : To enable people with learning disabilities to lead full and purposeful lives within their community. To enable more people with learning disabilities to have as much choice and control as possible over their lives through a person centred approach. To enable people with learning disabilities and their families to have greater choice and control over where and how they live. Have opportunities to study and enjoy leisure and social activities. All care staff receive specialist training on Learning Disabilities, Autism, Challenging Behaviour & Supported Living, whilst our branch staff have received training by Mencap. Our specialist Case Management service aims to support individuals who have acquired brain injury and spinal injury and those with conditions such as cerebral palsy by working Case Managers to achieve a person centred approach, promoting self-esteem, support life-skills and individuality and enabling freedom of choice. The main emphasis is on rehabilitation and promoting independence, choice and to ensure that those in our care are always treated with dignity and respect. Prestige Nursing + Care also runs specific training on acquired brain injury and spinal injury in conjunction with the charity Headway. We have extensive experience of delivering Palliative care services, which have evolved to meet the particular sensitivities or providing care to individuals with life threatening illness. In these uniquely difficult situations, we do everything to ensure that we combine our experience with acknowledged best practice every step of the way. We are members of the National Council for Palliative Care, and our end of life pathway is aligned with the Liverpool Pathway to ensure we put the individual at the heart of everything we do.
