Do not purchase from this store, I spent a lot of money moving into my new home in March 2015 by investing in carpets for throughout the majority of the house. I am extremely disappointed firstly the landing was a different colour to the stairs and this took over a month for them to rectify and also although I purchased underlay and gripper rods the carpet in continuing to come up at the edges when I hoover although I am only using a standard Henry. I have contacted these several times and they have came out on 3 occasions to fix the carpet back down but the problem still persists. Now they are ignoring my emails and contact after the manager came out pushed all the bits back down and went on to say there was nothing wrong with the carpet or fitting because it has now been so long the carpet is fraying all round the edges that are coming up and have left noticeable fray marks and they still are refusing to do anything about it although I didn't chose the most expensive carpet in the shop being a single parent I always thought that if you wasn't happy regardless of the amount spent something should be done about it. It has continued to fray that much that I dread hoovering my own home

I live in wigston and now there is a potters in wigston fields I thought that was great. A nice young man came and measured up and promised us that a quote would be forthcoming and we waited and waited, we now have gone elsewhere for our carpets because we were not contacted back and we waited over four weeks. I work in a shop near potters carpets in wigston fields and have been asked by many people about them and I am afraid my experience has put a lot of people off and we have all gone elsewhere, sorry potters but if you promise something you need to keep your promises, especially if you are a relation to the owner!!!

I bought and paid for in full carpet for a bedroom, landing and stairs. Unfortunately the carpet fitted was in fact the wrong colour. The store admitted fault and confirmed they would get the correct one re-fitted but after Christmas. After the fitters left I was left with a lot of mess which is expected but when I moved the bag of cut offs the bad had left a big black mark on my newly painted wall. As you can imagine I was not best pleased. I later rang the store and said that the carpet fitted was not unbearable and to see what they would offer if I decided to kepp it and they offered me £75. Considering they woud have thrown the carpet away and not have to pay the fitters again I thought was a smack in the face. However, if that was what they wanted to do that was their prerogative. So now I have the inconvenience of having to get the carpet re-fitted which will create more mess and more time off work and they refused to pay any sort of token compensation. In addition to this they washed their hands of any liability to the mark on the wall and referred me back to the fitter. For a company this size I would expect better customer service. I appreciate this was a human error and it happens to everyone but I would hope to keep a customer happy the store would offer something so this has left a sour taste in my mouth and I will not be recommending this store to anybody in the future. No doubt this message will not go up on here but this will be the same message I will be posting on all available social media sites and review sites. This is the review I sent to them and I would give them a zero if I could.

SUPER - store

I have shopped at Potters for 40 years. Always received helpful, friendly service and never disappointed with quality or fitting. "Superb" rather than "Super" in my opinion!
