We offer an extensive and wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Our teachers run after-school clubs - examples include cross-country, football, netball, french, gym, dance, choir and gardening clubs which are very well-supported.
Several study support funded projects take place including the very popular Spitfire Learning club held at the County Cricket Ground. We have had Kent Children's University sessions on-.
Volunteer groups enhance the school provision in a number of ways by supporting reading, cooking and working on specific projects maintaining the school gardens and developing the learning environment.
We invite many visitors into school to extend the opportunities of learners - authors, theatre groups, musicians, church groups and recently a group of owls and their handlers.
The children also participate enthusiastically in many educational visits within the school day and during evenings and weekends. We organise theatre trips locally and to London.
There is an annual residential visit for older pupils which is very successful at Swattenden Centre
