Weymouth is a place of beauty, not only the town and the harbour, but also the surrounding areas, which includes the Jurassic coast line and its wonderful coastal foot path. Penn House Hotel is a small guest house, but its position on Weymouth sea front is second to none. The view from some of its bedrooms across Weymouth Bay is outstanding. Penn House is situated on Brunswick Terrace and is renown for its floral decoration along to whole Terrace. The well known writer and novelist John Cowper Powys` used to stay with his widowed mother, who lived at Penn House. John Cowper wrote Weymouth Sands. There is a Cowper Powys` society and there are many members all over the world.
