PARKWOOD HEALTHCARE

Four Local Authorities have commissioned us to be the host organisation for the LINks in the London Boroughs of Lewisham, Harrow, Greenwich and across the County of Essex (including Southend). We provide community development and public engagement work and consultancy, research and information services to enable the public and local communities to have a voice and to influence the planning, commissioning and delivery of all the health and care services in each borough. In close collaboration with the NHS Primary Care Trusts in South East Essex, Berkshire West and Leicester City we deliver Health Trainer services employing local people to work in the community to provide support, encouragement, information and advice to people striving to give up smoking, to lose weight, improve their diet and take more exercise.

Parkwood Healthcare Ltd has its own Board of Directors reporting directly to the Parkwood Holdings Board. The Companies Managing Director, Russell Francis a qualified Accountant with over 20 years experience gained from Local Government, Private and Voluntary Organisations, oversees the operation of the Healthcare business.

Russell is supported by his Senior Management team, which consists of its Head of Research & Development – Jamie Lane, Operations Manager – Tim Hayward-Smith and its Senior Branch Manager – Claire McPaul.
