Detailed description:

We are delighted to offer our pupils a good range of activities during the school day and after school. We have at least 2 hours of sport through organised PE, playtimes and after school activities We were awarded the Activemark in November 2006 and 2007 During the day these include: Games, sport, dance, gym and athletics through structured PE lessons. Foundation Stage pupils have a range of large and fine motor skills development through structured and self initiated outdoor play Guitar, woodwind and brass tuition are offered to KS2 pupils by peripatetic teachers.

1 KS2 class are learning to play recorders and another the ocarina Playtime activities - Our School Council have created a rota for playtimes that involves small equipment, dodge ball, basketball, football, magnetic boards and playground markings. Each class has a specific day for each activity.

Visits to museums, theatres. - We arrange a variety of visits to supplement our topics Classes 2 - 5 also have 30 minutes Spanish each week After school and extras: Parties, beetle drives & discos Residential weekends/weeks to outdoor activity centres for KS2 children After school clubs - sport multi skills, art, baking, gymnastics, newspaper writing
