Detailed description:
Extended Schools Coordinator shared between five local schools who organises holiday activities, including trips for families; after school Computer Club; extra physical activities during curriculum time, including Fitness Week (June 2008); Healthy Schools mornings, coffee mornings for parents; whole school trips to Woburn Safari park; etc
Member of MK Schools Sports Partnership which allows us to take part in inter and intra school PE events and to access extra physical activities such as after school football club, gymnastics, dance, multiskills, etc
Visits by theatre groups and puppet shows (2/3 per year)
In school fund raising has provided money for a trip to the pantomime and other out of school visits
Children regularly walk to local venues, eg cinema, garden centre, local lakes, park, other schools for theatre groups and puppet shows, etc
Other recent visits have included Butterfly Farm, Recycling Centre, Bedford Museum, Woburn Safari Park
Multi cultural events and themed days, eg African drumming workshops, Indian dancing, Lunch time Recorder Club
MK Schools Music Festival at MK theatre once a year
