"The good range of visits and visitors coming to the school is helping the pupils to deepen their understanding of the topics they are pursuing. There is good provision for extra-curricular activities especially in music. Many pupils enjoy going to the school choir and there is a good range of other interesting activities." OFSTED July 2008
A broad, balanced and enriched curriculum is evident in activities and displays around the school; effective SEN provision and links with outside agencies; Lifeskills involvement; SEAL project; drug and sex education programmes delivered by School's Health service; cultural diversity projects; wide range of extra-curricular activities; residential visit for Year 6; opportunities for visits eg. visit to Hindu temple and Bath's Theatre Royal; participation in APEX projects for able pupils; theme weeks with cross-curriclar links eg. Our Community; involvement with our Network Learning community; leading the Pupil Parliament; Learning to Learn strategies; active school council; pupils working with school councils from other schools.
