Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP is a long established and well respected firm of Livestock and General Auctioneers, Valuers, Surveyors and Rural Land & Property Agents covering Shropshire & the West Midlands. Established 1831. On November 2nd 1831 T.
NOCK announced his commencement as AUCTIONEER AND APPRAISER in Bridgnorth High Street and 175 years on Nock Deighton has grown and expanded into a multi-disciplined business with seven offices throughout Shropshire & the West Midlands region. In 1990 Nock Deighton Agricultural relocated from the town’s Smithfield to their current 16.5 acre Livestock and Auction Centre site at Tasley housing the livestock market, rural professional services department and auction rooms and was re-structured in 2004 to become an LLP.
Significant investment has since been made in the livestock market premises to provide additional and modernised facilities including extra pens, new weighbridges and electronic cattle handling systems, now equipped to accommodate 700 cattle and 4000 sheep undercover. The firm’s Rural Professional Services Department provide a comprehensive range of services to the rural sector handling rural land and property sales and offering their knowledge and expertise on matters such as agricultural law, land & farm business management, Single Farm Payments, environmental stewardship, planning and diversification and valuations for secured lending and taxation purposes.
