Based in Reading, Nick Baldwin Garden Design offers a fully qualified and highly experienced design service to clients throughout Berkshire and beyond. Established in 1998 the company has many years of experience in the garden design and landscaping sector.
Our aim is to carefully consider the site's character and available space, taking notes and making a photographic record of the garden before putting pen to paper at the drawing board. A plan is then drawn up with the emphasis on simplicity, clean lines and dynamic planting, the results of which can be viewed in our extensive portfolio.

Profile: I am a qualified garden designer based in Reading offering a complete design and build service, from initial consultation and preparation of client brief, through to site survey, outline plans and the physical completion of the project. My aim is to interpret clients' wishes, translating them into original, workable and modern gardens that retain an open, spacious feel, appropriate to the style and architecture of the house and relating to the character of the site. Initially studying horticulture at the Berkshire College of Agriculture in Burchetts Green, I worked for several years landscaping and planting a large estate in Purley-on-Thames before forming my own landscape gardening company in 2001. Following further studies in design at Merrist Wood College I established Nick Baldwin Garden Design with the aim of providing a professional and conscientious service backed up by practical experience and sound design principles.
