Competitions with other schools - Football, High 5 netball, tag rugby, cricket, basketball as part of the Magdalen SSCO Partnership. Games Club after school for KS2 children. Computer Club for YR6 children. Life Education Bus. Brass Lessons. Strings Lessons - violin, viola, cello, double bass.
Residential Trips. Visits. Visitors in to school e.g vikings. Children take part in concerts at the end of term, christmas, district carol service. Children are encouraged to participate in school and village activities and consequently they feel part of the community as a whole. Through the School Council children are able to contribute their ideas and they feel that they are listened to.
Multi-Cultural Links with Bungoma. Some of our children are involved in the village pantomime production every other year. Church, special occasions celebrated within school to which the community is invited. Pupils are involved in Fundraising events both for school and other charities - children in need, red nose day - they are responsible for stalls, games etc. At christmas the children donate boxes of gifts to a charity scheme - Operation Christmas Child. Sale of Harvest produce - money raised goes to Christian Aid.
