NEW INVENTION JUNIOR SCHOOL

Classes present two assemblies each year. Pupils in year 4 and 6 also take part in a major production. In year 5 all pupils are asked to play a brass or woodwind orchestral instrument loaned by the school. Pupils are taught to swim during regular visits to Bloxwich leisure centre during years 3 & 4. Extra curricular sporting activities include tennis, rugby, cricket, football, netball and basket ball. The school has a football team. An early morning sport session takes place on 3 days weekly. Via the Children's University we offer a wide range of holiday and week end courses at local venues. We aim to provide an annual opportunity for children to visit the theatre. We plan at least one out of borough experience during the key stage and arrange other more local educational visits.
