'The Natural Place to Play and Learn' is the ethos that Nannas Day Nurseries is built upon. Nannas place great emphasis on children's individual learning and development as dictated by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and creates this through use of innovative, natural resources and cleverly designed indoor and outdoor natural environments.

Children thoroughly enjoy and participate in a broad range of inviting activities in a homely atmosphere in which children feel safe and secure. Exciting activities are freely chosen through this natural free flow play philosophy which encourages children to become risk takers, builds children's self esteem, self confidence and supports them in becoming motivated and interested to learn, ensuring they are empowered to make excellent progress in their learning and development.

Practitioners are highly valued across all levels, with their multitude of skills, expertise and experience. They are truely dedicated, passionate and have a wonderful nurturing attitude towards the children and the job they are doing which is reflected in the nursery's buzzing atmosphere.

We strive to continuously improve our provision/service and remain ahead of the competition to ensure that the children in our care receive the best possible start to their futures.

Parents are highly valued at the nursery and their contribution is constantly requested and ideas embraced. We understand how difficult the process is of finding a nursery that is right for you, your family and your child and aim to make this transition and process as smooth as possible.

Settling in sessions are available to enable you to begin to get to know us and feel comfortable with the nursery and the staff before leaving your most precious and prized belonging with us! At these settling in sessions, every child at the nursery chooses their own Key Person who will be your main point of contact with the nursery.
