Monkey World, the chimpanzee rescue centre, based in Wareham, Dorset, UK, Rescue and Rehabilitation of primates world wide. Monkey World is open every day except Christmas Day, from 10am to 5pm. During July and August, opening times extend from 10am to 6pm. Last admission is 1 hour before closing.

Monkey World assists governments around the world to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild. At the Centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.
