The core part of the group’s business is formed by autotrader.co.uk, the UK’s leading motoring website, with up to 10 million* monthly unique users; by mobile, whose users downloaded 300, 000 iPhone Apps during launch month; and by Auto Trader magazines, with an average weekly circulation of around 136, 000 copies across the UK and Ireland. This translates as TMG being the number one UK marketplace for motorists - offering unrivalled response to customers’ advertisements and regarded as THE place where buyers and sellers come together.

Auto Trader’s pre-eminent market position means it contributes significantly to the group’s revenue and profits, with an increasing element coming from online offerings. For the year to 28 March 2010, 62% of the group’s revenue was derived from online, compared with 52% for the previous year, highlighting Auto Trader’s ability to deliver against the evolving market.
