MFL design and manufacture an extensive range of foil strain gauges and associated products. Alternatively we can provide a cost effective strain gage design service whereby we can produce a strain gauge to a customer's exact requirements within one week, following receipt of enquiry.
All MFL strain gauges are manufactured with Constantan or Karma foil on a polyimide backing. Epoxy backed strain gauges are available upon request. Strain gauges can be supplied with a polyimide encapsulation layer or encapsulated with leadwires attached. Leadwires can be cut to any length and are available in many different types.
Detailed description:
MFL manufacture the following range of foil strain gage patterns which are all supplied with copper coated solder tabs, fully encapsulated and available in various stc values. All strain gages are produced from Constantan foil on a polyimide backing. The strain gauges can come complete with leadwires, which are available in various types and leadwire lengths. Custom strain gage patterns are available upon request.
MFL offer a strain gauge design service applicable to both high and low volume users. Whether you are a large load cell manufacturer or a one man operation, MFL have a cost-effective way of turning your ideal strain gauge design into a finished product. No longer do you have to "make do" with standard product.
MFL can convert even a rough sketch on a fax or an email attachment into a production strain gauge within one week depending on design complexity. once the final artwork has been created, MFL can despatch finished strain gauges the same day for customer evaluation.
