Heart of the Metrostat Pre-Press is our Fuji/Rampage CTP workflow, via both Macintosh and PC platforms, our skilled and experienced team can output from complete digital artworks or press-quality pdf files. Proofing is achieved via the Rampage workflow and employs only ‘ripped' files supplying either ‘pdf' or ‘hard copy' proofs . . . the benefits to the client are reduced costs and faster turn-around. Should you wish to discuss any technical issues regarding the building of files, our team are always on hand to offer advice and support.

Litho Printing - Metrostat utilises Heidelberg Speedmaster B2 five colour perfectors and B3 4 colour machinery providing us with the ability to produce a wide variety of printed materials. Our 24-hour shift system enables us to meet our clients' ‘tighter' deadline requirements. Our highly knowledgeable production team are on hand to discuss technical specifications and advise on paper properties, helping to ensure the best finished results. Finishing is performed by our post-press department includes: laminating, trimming, folding, automated gathering and saddle-stitching, perfect-binding, embossing, creasing, die-cutting, and thread-sealing. Experienced personnel carry out all of our finishing ensuring a high quality finished product.

Metrostat offers many of the specialised processes associated with direct mail, including: Paper and polythene enclosing of magazines: Fully mechanised mailing lines and bench staff offer us a high level of flexibility in terms of size and shape of inserts. Database Management: All aspects of database and subscription management including data processing, postcode verification, de-duplication, sortation, mailsorting and data cleaning and subscriber accounts. Ink-jet addressing: A neat, quick and economical answer to the address label. Personalisation of letters: High volume laser printing allows us to output personalised letters in A4 and A3 format, both single and double sided.
