More often than not, the 4 star Metropole hotel is the first sight you notice on entering the vibrant town of Padstow, aka the sea food capital of Great Britain.

We're perfectly placed for just about anything you might desire to do – beaches, walking, surfing, kayaking, cycling, golfing, shopping, eating, attractions, historical houses, gardens, The Eden Project – you name it and we aren’t very far from it.

The Metropole has 58 individually appointed bedrooms that are available in a choice of categories: Standard, Select and Premier. All rooms are en suite with bath and overhead shower and are equipped with remote control colour TV, clock/radio, hospitality tray and hairdryer as standard.
Our Select rooms offer great views over the town, harbour or Camel estuary.
In the Premier rooms you can really relax as there are acres of space and in all but 2 of them, you have a wonderful view over the harbour or estuary. The bathrooms are a real feature too with most having walk in showers and all with big fluffy bathrobes. Take time to read your complimentary newspaper, sit back and enjoy the beautifull location.
Make the most of your visit and spoil yourselves with some champagne on ice in your room or some fresh flowers and chocolates for a special occasion.
Families are welcome at The Met. Our pool is open during the months of July and August and we have some great beaches on our doorstep as well as the excitement of the harbour a stone's throw away. We have a number of family rooms available.
