Mellors Catering Managers have the freedom to purchase their food from an array of nominated local suppliers. Unlike the national caterers, we don’t dictate and restrict what they can purchase.
We maximise the use of fresh produce. Main meals are made from scratch. You won’t find cook-in sauces, powder soups or custard mixes in a Mellors’ kitchen. We run 4 week menu plans, and have costed recipes. However we don’t dictate cooking specifications. Each Catering Manager has the freedom to adapt recipes to meet the specific needs and tastes of your customers.
Onsite bookwork is around 30 minutes per day. This allows Mellors’ Catering Managers to have time to concentrate on the food and be with the customers rather than stuck on a computer entering in invoices. Such work is done by our head office. Another time saver, all labels are printed at Head Office and forwarded to site to ensure a professional image.
From major installations to minor changes, Mellors can design, build and project manage any development requirements you have.
Capitalisation of development projects is also available if you would like such costs to be spread over the term of the catering contract rather than having a one off investment cost.
Developments can incorporate Mellors’ Colour Box signage or adopt your logo and colours.
Shirley (Mellors Hotels Interior Designer) can give advice on your seating area fixtures and fittings, wall and floor coverings, develop mood boards and costings as required.
