Short profile:

As well as subjects of the National Curriculum children are able to use non classroom time for other activities. The choir is particularly successful and children in this group learn to sing to a high standard. The school offers music tuition from Havering Music School.

Children in KS2 are taught Spanish as a modern foreign language.

During the year, the whole school participates in themed weeks such as Science Week, Book Week and Multi Cultuarl weeks. These events are  popular as children participate in a range of activities led by different members of staff.

Other lunch time and after school clubs include gymnastics, gardening club, country dancing, sewing, colouring club, library to name but a few.

We are committed to taking the children out on educational visits and we organise a residential trip for pupils in Y5 and Y6 to the Isle of Wight.

Themed learning projects include inviting in outside providers and organising educational visits to enhance teaching and learning.

The school is an active member of the Harold Hill School's Partnership and participates in maths, science, art and ICT days.

We are able to sign post children to extended day activities at two local schools who are the named providers for our locality.
