Our school is dedicated to providing a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which is available to every pupil.Within the curriculum, all children experience 2 hours of high quality PE, weekly. A wide range of activities including ball games, team games, athletics, gymnastics, dance and swimmimg all contributed towards our Active Mark. A range of equipment is available at lunchtimes enabling energetic play to be enjoyed.
After school clubs provide coaching opportunities for enthusiastic children.Our rich music curriculum provides opportunities for performance by the orchestra, choir and individuals. Brass, guitar, violin and woodwind lessons take place during the week.School camp, outdoor pursuits courses, ten step athletic awards all provide personal challenges as well as huge enjoyment for all pupils.
Gardening, drama and French clubs provide breadth of experience. Children in Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to learn to sail and kayak on the local Marine Lake under first class instruction.Artsweeks provide opportunities for painting, drawing, felt and clay work, recycling materials, paper mache work and a whole range of other creative experiences.
