Your first visit with us at Marsh Dental Care is an important one and will consist of a 30 minute consultation appointment.
When you meet the dentist it is important that you advise us of any concerns you have about dental treatment and are honest about why you have come to the practice and what you want from us. Your care is a two way process and we need and value your input.
During your consultation we will take a full confidential medical and dental history and examine your mouth, teeth and gums thoroughly.
If you are anxious about dental treatment then you are not alone. Most people are anxious to some degree by the prospect of a dental visit.
Aromatherapy - we use lavender in our patient lounge to help produce a relaxing, calming environment.
Acupuncture - we use acupuncture mainly for reducing anxiety and to help people who may have a problem with gagging.
