Short profile:

The school continues to be able to offer a wide variety of activities, working partnership with the the local Sports Coordinators' partnership; golf, tennis, baseball, basketball, hockey supplement the more usual football games.

During reasonable weather older children are offered the chance to begin to learn about sailing, the sea and the local river systems with the help of the Horizons Sailing Project, which is a Christian Charitable Organisation.

More able children  were able to take part in a range of gifted and talented extension activities, which were as diverse as a chess tournament, maths classes at the university, art and design at the college of art, and "young engineers" project. During the course of the year there were over forty places offered.

Year 6 children who had demonstrated the necessary skills in swimming were able to take part in a surf day.Of the fifteeen who took part, twelve were able to mount their boards and surf convincingly in to shore.

There are a number of extra curricular activities including football and cricket. There is a successful, well-attended chess club as well as dodgeball, homework and a fantasy role play club.
