This guy Steve is an out and out rouge trader.
IF you buy a car from him CHECK THAT THE WARRANTY COMPANY HAVE YOU CAR ON COVER.
IF you buy a car from him DON'T LEAVE THE PREMISES WITHOUT ALL OF YOUR PAPER WORK.
IF you buy a car from him and YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT DON'T LET HIM GET IT REPAIRED.
IF you buy a car from him DON'T EXPECT HIM TO CALL YOU BACK.
If you buy a car from him GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!

I bought a car from them, I had issues getting paper work sorted. I then checked for a review on the web (SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT FIRST! lesson learnt !)Found someone with EXACTLY the same type of senario, so I copied his text.
"Bought a car, (INSERT YOUR PROBLEM HERE) Rang Steve, promised to post it, after a few days rang him, he was always conveniently busy with a customer. Eventually said it had been returned, over the next two weeks made promises to deliver personnally, made promises for his colleague to deliver, made promises to send registered post, when that didn't arrive I asked for the tracking number which didn't exist on the Post Office system. On top of the number of phone calls I made disrupting my work, sometimes twice a day but at least once for 3 weeks and every time 'I'll ring you back in 5 minutes' and he never did.
Full of promises, full of excuses, full of s**t
If he lies about (YOUR PROBLEM)what else does he lie about?"

PAINT CHIPS ! - Use a 2" brush yourself !
TRIES TO DO EVERYTHING ON THE CHEAP, even to the point of using a 'garage / MOT station' who he is in cahoots with !
Oh, and I think he might live in a caravan.
