Short profile:

Our Ethnic Minorities Guidance project offers individual support tailored to your individual needs, ranging from job search skills and workshops, CV preparation, interview skills and visits to local employers. We provide information, advice and support to those needing access to further education and training.

Detailed description:

An internet access service is available by prior arrangement to help you find the right job or educational opportunity. Uniquely our project offers continuing support to enable you to fulfill your potential and achieve your goals. In the event of employers' insolvency, closures, layoffs or group redundancies we can hold guidance and advice sessions, by arrangement, at your workplace.

The sessions may be at the request of your union officials, or if no union is represented at your workplace, via the Redundancy Support Service of your local authority. We stand for full employment and a decent living standard for all.

Our group of volunteers plays a key role in campaigns on issues affecting the lives of unemployed workers and their families.
