Short profile:
All the cakes are decorated at our shop, with most of the toppers being handmade. Therefore, you can have whatever you like (we like a challenge!). Once you have an idea of how many you want to feed and possibly a design, come and see us.
We’ll help you design the perfect cake. We usually only need 1 weeks notice for a fairly simple cake.
It’s better to give us as much notice as you can, as we only have so much manpower.
Detailed description:
The most popular fillings are maderia sponge (like birthday sponge but moist and vanilla flavour), usually served with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream, chocolate with chocolate buttercream, or moist fruitcake. We can make whatever flavour you like, so long as we have a few weeks notice. If you have any requests for something different just ask! I can make gluten free, dairy free, and wheat free cakes at no extra cost.
Fruit cake feeds double, as the slice is ussually 1?/1?. At a wedding, you also feed more because the cake is deeper. The peices are ussually a little smaller too, so if you’re giving cake as dessert, you might need more cake! Different sizes are available, so come and see me if you’d like larger or smaller sizes. I can always find the right size and budget for you.
