Visits into and out of school are an important part of teaching and learning, including residential trips. Every year Year 4 pupils spend 3 days at Sayers Croft and Year 6 pupils spend 5 days on the Isle of Wight.A wide range of visits are organised, for example British Museum, Science Centre, Loose Valley. They provide a stimulus for cross-curricular learningMusic tuition is available - guitar, piano, violin. All Year 3 children learn to play the recorder.Drama productions take place for Year 3 - Nativity and Year 6 - end of year performanceA wide range of school clubs are run at lunch time and after school, these include sports, choir, quiet activities, organised games.Apart from the school run clubs, children have the opportunity to join a French club and a Drama club run by outside providersResources at the local secondary school are used on occasions for ICT and MusicSpecialist days such as History days are organised to extend and inspire learning
