  When I come to London I usually arrive to the Luton airport where I enjoy the waiting and shoping. Not a too big airport but you can find everything you would like to buy if you have spare time during your travel.

  • william grierson: The lack of communication and collapse of normal passenger check in operations on the morning of 23/7 was an unfortuntate customer experience for 1000's. The Media reported a security issue which required Police presence--however this does not excuse a failed drop off lane at a peak period, incorrect and misleading check in advice announcements,lack of concern by staff, rudeness at Outsize Baggage drop off and for that matter at the security gates. And perhaps I can also feedback that passengers should be advised on your website that at peak times( eg 13.00 onwards)they will almost certainly be exposed to 50/55 minute passport checks on arrival. I will not be using this airport again till this is resolved--and am considering taking this issue further.
