Liverpool Community College was established in April 1992 by the amalgamation of four former further education colleges. We are one of the largest FE colleges in England with five of the six main college buildings located in the city centre. It has 12 Drop in Study Centres (DISCs) (smaller community based centres) which themselves act as hubs for outreach provision in more than 50 neighbourhood venues.
The College provides more than 500 academic and vocational courses for more than 20, 000 students each year. The programmes range from basic skills to higher education qualifications. The College is proud of its continuing record in providing education and training and a way into employment for many people traditionally excluded from these opportunities. Mission- To provide high quality education and training which is inclusive and matches the needs of our diverse learners and the economy.
