Short profile:

We have a breakfast club and after school club at school which all of our pupils aged 5 and over have access to. The After School Club is run by an external provider.

We have a wide variety of before and after school clubs including: athletics, football, cricket, rugby, basketball, badminton, netball, drama, art

Pupils can also join the school choir which peforms in the Thurrock Music Festival every summer. Pupils also have access to individual music tuition.

French is part of the curriculum for all children in KS2.

The school participates in a wide range of sporting leagues and tournaments across Thurrock and Essex with a high level of success.

Detailed description:

Little Thurrock isn’t little at all. In fact it’s one of the largest schools in Thurrock, but Large Thurrock doesn’t sound so good. (‘Little Thurrock’ is really an area of Grays, where our school is situated). We always have plenty going on and there are many things to like about us: we’re artistic, musical, gymnastic, sporting, dramatic, highly literate and supremely numerate.

Our children are very special and our parents and governors support the school really well. We have many teachers, young and experienced, who are very good. They work extremely hard during the school day, but still manage to run lots of before school and after school clubs.

In every class we have people called Learning Support Assistants, who do a great job helping children to learn.
