Detailed description:
After securing a software development project for a company in the oil industry, expertise in dynamic positioning and GPS increased. A new found interest in offshore sailing brought with it a knowledge of navigation, which further enhanced the dynamic positioning work.
Linux services steadily grew, providing customers with various Linux installations, including:
File servers
Webservers (LAMP)
Email servers
Integration with Windows systems
Voice over IP (VoIP) servers
Desktop / Laptop installations
Office networking, including VPN's
The end of 2006 brought a new development project for a customer in the vehicle manufacturing industry, to produce a vehicle testing and data capturing product.
In early 2007, LinuSoft became a limited company, and recruited additional software development staff.
After joining a local BNI (www.bni-europe.com) group in 2008, interest in Linux systems increased, particularly VoIP systems and fileservers.
