Detailed description:
The After School Club continues to provide a stimulating, enjoyable and child centered environment with a good range of activities.
There is football club and multisports club organised as after school activities
As part of our sports partnership work with a local High School the children participate in sporting events led by professionals, or students on linked courses.
The Library Club supports the development of children's reading and library skills. It's success was recognised in our OFSTED report and it was also publicised on the study support as an example of good practice.
All the children in Year 2 and 3 participate in the school choir and there is a recorder club for children in Year 3.
Children in Year 3 participate in a dance project funded by Broadland District Council with the residents of Homelea, our local sheltered housing complex.
Regular walk to school weeks promote the need for a healthy life stlye.
As a result of our travel plan we won a Steppers Award. Funding received through the award went towards the purchase of a cycle rack to encourage more children to cycle to school.
Children are encouraged to bring cycles, scooters, and roller skates to school to use on the trim track at lunchtimes
