Lalis was set up by neighbours Chrissie Proctor and Jill Riches, both owners and fans of Lampes Berger. Jill, a cat owner, used her lampe to eliminate the smell of their food, whilst Chrissie dotted several around her home to give a different atmosphere to different rooms, lavendar in the bedroom to help sleep, warm spicy fragrances in the lounge and fresh fragrances in the kitchen to banish cooking smells.

Lalis Boutique, located just minutes from the Sea, is in easy distance of North East and East London and the Thames Corridor, for people living in Wanstead, Redbridge and Ilford. For those who dont know it, Leigh on Sea is a delightful, old fishing village, famous for its cockles and shellfish. It is worth a day out, with its historic museum and a host of individual shops and coffee bars. The point of minimum rainful is just 4 miles away so we enjoy a very mild, dry climate and often have to water our gardens through the winter.
