    I spent so long trying to get quotations for my business online, when I realised that I wasn't able to get what I wanted I rang many of the "direct insurers" that advertise everywhere - what a waste of time that was!. These direct insurers just seem to use staff that have a script and know one product. I kept getting passed around and no one was really able to give me advice let alone a quotation. I realise that my requirements weren't entirely straightforward but I did expect to get SOME helpl!

    I then decided to ring a local broker - L. F. E. Insurance - and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! They really knew what they were talking about and obviously had an enormous amount of experience in the insurance industry. They were able to give me so much advice, it was completely enlightening.

    When I went to the direct insurers I couldn'g even get one quote - however L.F.E. Insurance were able to give me so many different quotes to choose from. They also advised me on the warranties and the wording, which made me realise how different seemingly similar quotations are - as they say - the devil is in the detail.

    When my home insurance came due for renewal, I naturally rang them - and yet again I learnt that home insurance is not just about the headline sums insured and the premium - they explained the importance of looking deeper into the wording and looking at the definitions in the policy and also the limits under the policy which are hidden in the policy wording. It is no good having an unlimited sum insured on contents if there are limits in the policy for the amount they will pay for jewellery and other valuable or Hi Fi.

    They were great and I couldn'g recommend them highly enough - they made an impossible task seem easy!
