The Konjaku Shin National School of Karate in Grimsby, Lincolnshire was established in 1978, and is the region's premier karate school. Chief Instrucor Dave Kershaw 6th dan SKIEF, an international instructor and examiner has almost 40 years experience in karate and 32 years as a professional instructor. He was a record six times SKIGB National Champion. Konjaku Shin holds classes for all ages from four upward. Separate childrens and adults classes.
All grades awarded at Konjaku Shin are recognsied worldwide. All instructors are Enhanced CRB cleared and qualified First Aiders. Konjaku Shin teaches Traditional Shotokan Karate, and is a member of the Shotokan Karate International Federation - the largest Shotokan organisation in the world. All gradings at Konjaku Shin are conducted by Hanshi Shiro Asano 9th dan, SKIF Chief Instructor in Europe.
The Konjaku Shin facilities include one of the finest dojos in Europe. Classes are held six days a week, with private instruction available.
