We are here to give you information and support over any education issues for your child. We can help you have your say, make sure you understand what is going on for your child, and help you make the decisions you feel are right for them. We aim to improve the relationships you have with school and other services to make sure you can work as a partner with them in the best interests of your child.
Detailed description:
We provide impartial and confidential information and support for parents/carers of children with special educational and/or a disability. This means any sort of special needs including physical disability, autism, behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties, speech and language or sensory impairments. You do not need a diagnosis of a condition to come to us. If you have concerns that is enough. We do not make decisions for parents - we give you the right information and support for you to be able to make your own informed decisions.
