KINGS CHURCH

The office is open: Mondays 9:15am-2:30pm Tuesdays 9.30am-2.30pm Wednesdsays 9:15am-1:15pm Fridays 9.30am-5.30pm. We are a lively, friendly, Bible-based church serving Heathfield and the surrounding area. We enjoy meeting together on Sunday mornings at 10.30 in State Hall to worship Jesus Christ. King’s loves providing a safe and stimulating environment for babies and toddlers. We run a creche during our Sunday meeting, with a variety of interesting toys, puzzles and children’s books. A drink and biscuit is always on hand for those who fancy it. Parents, especially those visiting for the first time, are more than welcome to stay in the creche with their children. Please ask any of our welcome team who will gladly point you in the right direction.

Sunday mornings at Kings is when the whole church comes together to celebrate what God has done through Jesus, study the Bible, and see God's power transform lives. Sunday meetings begin at 10.30 am. There is plenty of free parking in a car park behind the building. The meeting usually starts with about 40 minutes of worshipping and praising God for what He has done. During this time people from all around the meeting will contribute. Then, there are a few notices followed by a talk from the Bible for about 30 minutes. We may return to worship at the end. The meeting finishes around 12.00pm. If you have little ones a creche is available during the meeting. We also run KingsKidz Sundays and Engage for school-aged children. We would love to get to know you, so after the meeting we serve coffee. There is a team who will welcome you in a low-key way so that you can meet people and ask any questions you may have. God loves community. He always intended to have a people meeting and living their lives together, sharing experiences, helping those in need, growing together, and reaching their neighbourhood with the good news of Jesus. At King’s this happens primarily through Life Groups. We meet weekly in Life Groups across the Heathfield area. During the time together you will have opportunity to engage with God and with each other. They provide a place for sharing, support and socialising. Life Groups are the way to get connected and become fully involved in church life. King’s Church is passionate about worshipping Jesus Christ, and demonstrating his love to the surrounding area. The vision of the eldership is to foster a community of people who love Jesus and enjoy the life he has given them, and who are passionate about impacting their local community. They strongly believe that church should be a place where you can be yourself, worshipping God amongst a close family of believers.
