Kidd and Spoor is a long established firm originating in North Shields for over 130 years. The first foothold Kidd and Spoor had in Whitley Bay was in 1961 and later in 1967 when they purchased a practice of McGilvray & Company. In the 70's they acquired Briggs Martin & Peart, another old established Whitley Bay firm. Kidd and Spoor then opened an office in 1982 on the West Road in Newcastle.

The firm boasts a professional yet friendly service to clients in the locality. We keep up-to-date with the latest IT developments and ensure our staff attend continuing education and courses as well as in-house training. All our offices are both convenient and comfortable.
Our broad base of experience emanates from years of established practice, experience and local knowledge of our areas. In total 3 partners and 18 staff are employed, most of whom have been with us for over five years.
We do offer initial interviews in all matters free so that you are able to meet the personnel who will be dealing with your matters, ascertain costs and establish confidence in us as a law firm.
