Visited Bentley Bridge KFC today 18th September 2010, ordered my food As i sat down and began to eat, about the second bite or so, i could smell a rancid odor.
It took me a few seconds to realize it was the chicken and closer inspection showed that it looked and smelled rotten. The breading did a good job to hide both the odor and appearance.
My appetite was ruined by this and i explained my problem to the staff/ he went and left me in limbo only to return and tell me that all they could do is swap and get me more chicken! i was flabbergasted and asked to see the manager, who i was told was busy after waiting to close to 30 mins she came spewing threats and insisting i should contact customer careline as she cant smell the chicken to ascertain its freshness (company policy!), she was very rude and said its up to me to do the follow up...the number she gave for the customer care line is a 0845 number! very poor customer service and hazardous food sold here be very worried....am hoping i dont end up at New cross hospital tonite had to cancel my date in case i get ill today.
