We hope that it will serve as one source of information about our school. You are, of course, welcome to come and visit us in person. Kenton is a small, friendly village school which seeks to provide a stimulating learning environment in which all children feel cared for, happy and part of our school family.
Detailed description:
Class 1 is home to the Foundation and Year 1 children. Mrs Garner and Miss Slack are their teachers. We hope you enjoy looking at our work 'The seventeen children in Class 2 are a busy bunch of Year 2 children! For the majority of the week we are taught by Mrs Lunn, and our Head Teacher, Mrs Somerwill, teaches us for the rest of the time.
This has been a very productive term and we are pleased to share some of our lovely work with you. In Class 3 the children and teachers work together in a supportive and creative environment.
The children are encouraged to work towards their own individual learning targets and produce original pieces of work. The children are presented with a variety of opportunities and learning styles, including discussion, thinking skills, group work, focusing on skills.
