Providing a menu of choices for service users, KCA's adult substance misuse services support people aged eighteen and over into recovery by tackling both treatment needs and wider social reintegration issues including housing, employment and education. By addressing the wider holistic needs of our service users, we ensure that our substance misuse services make the best use of local community resources. All our adult substance misuse services are open to substance misusers and their families and carers for whom we facilitate support groups and provide training.

Effective - Working with service users, funders and the wider community to optimise outcomes and efficiency based on evidence, experience and research KCA is a charity and a company limited by guarantee, established in 1975. The organisation has many years experience delivering drug, alcohol and mental health services and an established network of service centres in London and the South East. KCA has a history of providing innovative services tailored to meet local needs, many of which are detailed in our Impact Report, including Substance Misusing Parents: working jointly with Social Services to support substance misusing parents and their children. Sunlight Project: working with the children of substance misusing parents. Cycle Recycle: a Social Enterprise scheme providing training and work experience to stabilised substance misusers. RisKit: a programme working with vulnerable young people in schools. Horizon: innovative personalised day programmes focussing on recovery. Naloxone: training in the administration of Naloxone to prevent overdose deaths. Psychological Therapy services delivered face to face in GP surgeries and by telephone from a Single Point of Contact.
