Detailed description:
Joseph Aquilina is the lead Clinician for Obstetric Ultrasound and has set up a Feto-Maternal Medicine service at the Royal London Hospital. He also runs a one-stop Menstrual Disorders clinic at Barts where women are scanned and treated at the same visit. Mr Aquilina completed his postgraduate training at King's College and Greenwich Hospitals. He subsequently undertook research and subspecialty training in feto-maternal medicine/gynaecological ultrasound as a lecturer at St.Bartholomew's and Royal London Medical School, Queen Mary Westfield College, based at Homerton Hospital. He is recognised as a preceptor for training in gynaecological scanning by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
