The Hotel overlooks the gateway to the Museum gardens; the 11th Century church of St Olafs and the remains of St Mary’s Abbey. The main shopping area of York is less than five minutes walk away and the peaceful river Ouse runs majestically by at the end of the street. We have a modern and welcoming reception area with resident’s lounge with access to wi-fi.

Detailed description:

Our restaurant seats 50 people with a varied menu offering locally sourced food prepared and cooked to the highest standards. You can also enjoy a quiet drink in our hotel bar at any time of the day, or choose to relax in our tranquil garden. The Hotel has its own small private car park which is allocated to guests free of charge. This is offered to guests on a first come first served basis and is not available for pre booking; also the car park is not suitable for larger car types as the entrance is narrow.
