JOHN OF GAUNT INFANT & NURSERY SCHOOL

The school offers a full and vibrant curriculum, and this starts at the Foundation Stage in the Nursery. The school believes in excellence and enjoyment across the curriculum, and creativity and independent thinking are encouraged. The school offers an exciting range of opportunities for outdoor learning including a wildlife area, including a pond and has recently added a castle, play ship and story telling circle to enrich the environment. A range of visitors are planned to enrich the curriculum and provide a starting point for future investigations. The children also visit places of local interest to support their learning. As children progress through the school they are given the opportunity to take responsibility for aspects of school life by taking part in the School Council. A range of activities are available to children at playtime to encourage cooperative and team games. Children at our school are given a wide range of opportunities and are encouraged to take advantage of activities including Gymnastics, Football &Tennis

There are also additional activities offered by the extended schools family learning administrator which take place across the Aylsham cluster
