Fabrics are woven from Wool, Mohair, Cashmere, Silk, Linen and Cotton. The wool yarn used is manufactured using the worsted spinning method and uses a range of Merino wool to exclusive Super 200’s quality.
The company produces two collections per year for Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer. Detailed description:
The Autumn/Winter season collection is made mainly from worsted wool but also combines Cashmere or silk in some of the fabrics. For the winter season the fabric weights range from 270 to 320 grammes per linear metre.
For Spring/Summer the fabric weights range from 220 to 280 grammes. For this collection worsted wool is combined with Mohair, Silk, Linen or Cotton. John Foster of England is regarded world-wide as one of the premier manufacturers of Mohair fabrics.
The company uses adult, kid and summer kid mohair. Fabric compositions range from 10% adult mohair to 60% summer kid mohair.
