Short profile:

Jangles was established in 1994, by husband and wife team, Robbie and Laura Campbell. Both partners are BA Honours Design graduates from Edinburgh College of Art in 1986/7. Robbie had previously worked abroad, managing glass businesses and designing the ranges for them in Jersey and Japan, for 6 years. Laura had done design work for Waterstones and the LGU.

Detailed description:

Jangles' flagship design is the Double Bubble Scent Ball. This was the brainwave of Robbie. It is an ideal gift for any occassion, and has proved to be extremely successful over the past years. 'People just keep buying them and coming back for more' as one of Jangles' customers put it. They have been a tremendous success in America, featuring in several mail order catalogues, including Plow and Hearth, Wind and Weather, Orvis, Pickering and Simmons, and River Valley Direct. Despite this there are still millions of people in UK and USA, who haven't seen them yet, as well as the rest of the world.

The design is innovative, unique, exclusive to Jangles and produced by hand using traditional glassmaking skills, solely on our premises, in Scotland.

I loved their Witch Balls and wanted to do business with Robie.

Very poor communication, eager to take the cash and fails to deliver. I'm still waiting for it after ordering in March. A pity as I've heard good things. Don't do business unless you want to loose cash. I'm owed £300 and have heard nothing from them since ordering. Robbie was very keen to take the order, emails, phonecalls until he recieved the money. Not a dickey bird since. Rubbish!
