James Adams Consultants (UK) Ltd was set up as an open and honest alternative to the mainstream hard-sell recruitment agencies currently operating in the market. We believe that recruitment consultants and their team leaders, target setters etc lost their focus some time ago and that the industry became greedy.
Margins were not open, fees were not pre-arranged and the whole industry had a “dirty” feel to it. Clients and candidates alike are hassled by sales calls, bullied by pushy consultants, motivated by profit rather than the satisfaction of finding the right role for the right person. They were more interested in ringing bells and “high fives” than the individuals and companies they should be servicing.

We think that is outrageous and that both candidates and clients deserve more - and that's why The James Adams Consultants (UK) Ltd was created. James Youens, founder and Director of The James Adams Consultants (UK) Ltd has ten years experience in the IT Recruitment industry. He was well aware of usual hard-sell mentality of the industry, and whilst successful, identified there was a place in the market for an honest and open approach to the recruitment process.
James Adams goal since the outset has been to provide the best recruitment service possible, treating all parties with the care, honesty and respect they deserve. Ninety percent of our business is repeat business and we only speak with companies with whom we would gladly work ourselves and with candidates we would happily employ.
