J West Engineering is becoming one of the few firms in South Yorkshire with people and resources to meet the following challenges. We provide a full spectrum of Design, Fabrication and Construction services by employing specialist people with outstanding ability in Project Management, Operational Services, Safety at Work and Quality Assurance.
Manufacturing is undertaken from our own in house general design drawings or manufactured directly from our clients detail fabrication drawings.
Our fabrication facility can manufacture in all grades of alloy materials as well as all grades of carbon steels.
Within our fabrication facility we have 6 overhead cranes to a maximum single lift of 15 tonnes.

J West Engineering have the capability to design and manufacturing bridges of all sizes & types from small architectural type pedestrian & cycle bridges, to large industrial pipe bridges.
J West Engineering offers facilities to manufacture various thickness & diameter of ductwork. Both square and round fabrications
J West Engineering offes structural design & detail by our chartered structural engineers. Specific areas of expertise are from retail / commercial structures to more difficult refurbishment packages coupled with secondary steelwork such as balustrade, platforms and plant supporting steelwork.
We offer a comprehensive in-house Design Service supervised by our Chartered Structural Engineer, covering initial conception through Structural Design to production of Detailed Fabrication Drawings for Projects ranging from simple Portal Framed Buildings and Purpose Designed Lifting Rigs to large scale Building Refurbishment Contracts, Industrial Structures and Multi-Storey Steel Framed Buildings.
Operated by our own Construction and Contracts Managers, J West Engineering will erect and install equipment and steel of our own manufacture or supplied by our customers. The Department also incorporates our Site Maintenance Team, available for short or long term Contracts. Such is the experience available within the Department that heavy lifting projects can be undertaken.
