Jeremy Smith started his career in law with a local firm of solicitors in Northamptonshire upon leaving school in 1970. In 1985 Jeremy went into partnership and opened an independent Estate Agency in Kettering. This agency was one of the first in the country to offer in-house financial services, a model now considered to be an essential part in todays Estate Agency industry.

After selling his agency business to the Halifax PLC in 1988 Jeremy returned to law and qualified as a Property Lawyer in 1989. In the same year Jeremy established his own conveyancing practice "JS Law" which has now grown to be a recognised national brand.
